Is the Welcome Reception ticket included in my registration?
No, the Welcome Reception ticket is NOT included for any registration type.How do I obtain a Visa Letter of Invitation?

Are workshops/courses included in the registration?
The Scientific Sessions are included in the registration. The Preconference Course, Learning Labs, PALS, PEARS, BLS, and Evidence-Based Training Workshop are the only sessions with additional fees.Do I need to purchase tickets to Social Events?Tickets to the Welcome Reception, Early Career Happy Hour and President’s Farewell Dinner are an additional fee and must be purchased separately. Additional tickets to all Social Events must be purchased during registration; onsite tickets for these functions may be limited and are subject to availability.

What is your child policy?
Registration for children up to the age of 20 is complimentary. Children 5 and over require purchased tickets to any social event.

What does guest registration include?
Guest registration includes access to the Exhibit Hall and sessions. Guest registration types cannot receive continuing education credit. If a guest would like to receive credit, they must register as Office Staff.

Can I purchase any courses from Annual Session online?
Yes, most courses at the meeting will be recorded and available for purchase to access on the Education Passport after AAPD 2023 has concluded.  Please allow one month for processing to access the recordings online.What should I do if I need to change or cancel my hotel reservation?When you receive your official acknowledgment by email you will be given several alternative methods to request a change or to cancel your reservation. You may use phone, email or the Internet to request your change.

What is the registration cancellation policy?
All cancellation requests are due in writing to AAPD Registration Services on or before Monday, May 1, 2023 and will be refunded less a $165 processing fee ($65 processing fee for those that are registered as Office Staff or Student Rate). 

No refunds will be given after Monday, May 1, 2023. Refunds are not granted for no-shows. After this date, any extenuating circumstances must be submitted in writing to the AAPD Vice President of Meetings & Continuing Education.
